Movie Review: The Brothers Grimm
This movie bored me to tears! "The Brothers Grimm" centers on Will Grimm (Matt Damon) and Jake Grimm (Heath Ledger) as legendary brothers who travelled around the country of Germany in the late 18th century, tricking people with their fairytales and vanquishing fantasical villains in exchange for money. They were eventually forced by the French authorities to investigate the forest of a small town where young girls had vanished. The forest indeed was enchanted and malevolent and the Brothers had to try and find a way to break a spell set by a cursed queen living in the forest.
Honestly, the film was filled dodgy CGI effects and carried a very muddled story that had me yawning from the start to finish. The comedic bits of the film failed to be funny -- Matt Damon and Heath Ledge acted so badly when trying to be funny. Guys, stick to more serious roles in the future! I might would have appreciated the film more if it was more of a serious fantasy film. I give this film a F.

I would do the same thing if I see some movies like that, some errors, careless background display(so fake), and the actor didn't do the role very well.. The whole movie shut me off completely and automatically "F". I gave the grade for "The War of the World" F too due to too many noticable errors.
I think Heath Ledge is a great actor, and I do aspire him very much in every film he was in, regardless what you have said.
But please continue to write your opinions, regardless of this comments. Have a great day!

Gabriel, "The War of the World" is in my queque at Netflix. Hopefully, I'll enjoy it than you did when I get around to seeing it.
John, Heath Ledge is a great actor, I agree. But I just wasn't impressed with his acting in "The Brothers Grimm". Thanks for your comment.
